Matrix Information Utility

matinfo
|
The utility matinfo simply displays text embedded
in the transition matrices used by GeneMark. This information may be useful while
cataloging matrix files or to get other information that may be stored in the matrix
file.
The general syntax for the matinfo command is:
matinfo matrix1 [ matrix2 ... ]
For example:
$ matinfo
ecoli_4.mat subt_4.mat
$ matinfo ecoli_4.mat
/usr/local/share/matrices/ecoli_4.mat:
Name = E. coli (NCBI/FR-1),
Order - 4
Author = JDM (Amiga-TransMatrix)
Order = 4
$ matinfo subt_4.mat
/usr/local/share/matrices/subt_4.mat:
Name = Bacillus subtilis

Order = 4
